Healthy participants needed for the study of a potential new medicine for treating autism spectrum disorder (ASD). You must be aged 18 to 55, have a BMI between 18.5 and 32, weigh at least 40 kg, and not use nicotine or tobacco products. Women must be postmenopausal for at least 1 year or surgically sterilised. This study involves 28 nights’ residence, 2 outpatient visits and 1 follow-up appointment. Admissions on 31 March and 7 April 2025.
Healthy participants needed for the study of an experimental new medicine for treating ulcerative colitis. You must be aged 18 to 55, with a BMI between 18 and 30.9, weighing at least 50 kg, and not have used nicotine or tobacco products in the last 3 months. Women able to have a baby must have IUD, IUS or coil. It involves 2 screening visits, 15 nights’ residence, 1 telephone call and 1 follow-up visit. You’ll have 2 sigmoidoscopies (screening and residence). Admissions on 1, 10 and 28 April 2025.

Participants with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) needed for the study of a potential new medicine to treat progressive multiple sclerosis and IPF. You must be aged 25 to 65, with a BMI between 18 and 30.9. Women must be post-menopausal for at least 1 year or surgically sterilised. This study involves 1 screening visit, up to 6 nights’ residence on our ward and 2 outpatient visits. You’ll have a total of 3 PET scans. Starts in April.

Participants with progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) needed for the study of a potential new medicine to treat MS and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). You must be aged 25 to 65, with a BMI between 18 and 30.9. Women must be post-menopausal for at least 1 year or surgically sterilised. This study involves 2 screening visits (including 1 MRI scan), up to 6 nights’ residence on our ward and 2 outpatient visits. You’ll have a total of 3 PET scans. Starts 7 April 2025.
