Healthy male volunteers needed for a potential new treatment for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). You must be aged 18 to 45 and must not have used any nicotine products for at least 3 months. The trial involves 2 periods of 3 nights' residence and 1 follow up appointment. Group starts 12 September 2018.

Healthy men needed for a potential new treatment for autoimmune disease - such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohns disease or psorasis. You must be aged 18 to 55 and smokers of up to 10 cigarettes per day are allowed. The trial involves 2 screening visits, a 7 nights' residence stay on our ward, 8 outpatient visits and 1 follow up. Group starting September 2018.

Men and women with osteoarthritis of the knee needed for a experimental new medicine for pain caused by osteoarthritis. You must be aged 18 to 80 and if you're a woman, you must be unable to have children, because you've been through the menopause or you've been sterilised. The trial involves 2 stays of 2 nights and 2 stays of 1 night in our unit, and up to 12 outpatient visits, over a 4 month period. Groups on-going.

You must be aged 30 to 79 and if you're a woman, be unable to have a baby because you are postmenopausal or you've been sterilised. Vegetarians and smokers of up to 10 cigarettes per day are allowed. The trial involves up to 4 nights' residence, 8 outpatient visits and 1 follow up. Groups ongoing

Healthy men and women needed for a potential new treatment for respiratory syncytial virus. You must be aged 18 to 55 and, if you're a woman, you must be postmenopausal or surgically sterilised. You must be a non-smoker for at least 6 months and vegetarians are not allowed. The trial involves 2 periods of 4 nights' residence, 6 outpatient visits and 1 follow up.

People with mild or moderate asthma who use a reliever inhaler (short acting reliever) only needed for the study of a potential new treatment for severe asthma. You must be at least 21 years old and, if you're a woman, you must be postmenopausal, sterillised or have an IUD fitted. The trial involves 2 screening visits, 5 sessions of 2 nights' residence and 1 session of 1 night's residence. In addition, men attend 2 outpatient visits, and women attend 3. Study ongoing.

Mild or moderate asthmatics needed for a potential new treatment for asthma. You must be 18 to 65 and consistently use your preventer. If you're a woman you must be of non-child bearing potential. You must be a non-smoker for at least 12 months and not use any products containing nicotine for 6 months. The trial involves a 4 nights' residence and 11 outpatient visits. Group starting September 2018

Asthmatics who only use a reliever inhaler (short acting reliever) and who are allergic to dust mites needed for a potential new treatment for asthma. You must be aged 18 to 60 and not have used any nicotine products for at least 12 months. The trial involves 13 outpatient visits (including 4 screening visits) over the course of about 10 months. Groups on-going.

Men and women who have depression but aren’t taking antidepressants needed for the study of a potential new treatment for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). You need to be 18 to 55 years old, and if you are a woman, you must be postmenopausal or surgically sterilised. The study involves 9 outpatient visits, and 3 inpatient stays on our ward (1 visit of 1 night, and 2 visits of 2 nights). Groups ongoing.
