Healthy men and women needed for the study of a potential new medicine for treating schizophrenia and mood disorders. You must be aged 25 to 45 and must not have used any nicotine products for at least 45 days before screening. The trial involves 1 MRI and up to 4 PET scans and includes 2 screening visits, a 10 nights' residence in our wards and 1 follow-up appointment. Groups starting in August 2019.

Chinese volunteers needed for the study of a potential new medicine for treating certain types of autoimmune diseases. You must be healthy and not using any medication, and aged 18 to 65; vegetarians and smokers are allowed. The trial involves 5 days' residence in our wards and 9 outpatient visits. Groups ongoing until February 2020.

Healthy men needed for the study of a potential new medicine to treat conditions such as memory loss and lack of concentration linked to illnesses such as schizophrenia. You must be right handed, aged 21 to 45, willing to consume gelatin, and a non-smoker for at least one month. The study involves 2 screening visits, 5 MRIs and 2 periods of 4 nights' residence in our wards. Groups ongoing until May 2020.

Women needed for the study of a potential new medicine for treating epilepsy. You must be at least 18 years old; smokers of up to 5 cigarettes per day are allowed. You must have a copper coil or have had your tubes tied if there is any possibility that you might become pregnant (The pill, injections, implants, and hormonal coils aren't allowed). It involves 1 period of 20 nights' residence, 1 period of 3 nights' residence, and 1 follow-up. Groups ongoing from Nov 2019

People with mild or moderate asthma who use only a short acing reliever inhaler needed for the study of a potential new treatment for severe asthma. You must be at least 21 years old and, if you're a woman, you must be postmenopausal, sterillised or have an IUD fitted. The trial involves 2 screening visits, 5 sessions of 2 nights' residence and 1 session of 1 night residence. In addition, men attend 2 outpatient visits, and women attend 3. Study ongoing.

Men and women with Osteoarthritis of the knee needed for a potential new treatment that may reduce the pain in OA and slow down the rate of the disease. You must be aged 30 to 79 and if you're a woman, be unable to have a baby because you are postmenopausal or you've been sterilised. Vegetarians and smokers of up to 10 cigarettes per day are allowed. The trial involves up to 4 nights' residence, 8 outpatient visits and 1 follow-up. Groups ongoing.

Men and women with psoriasis or atopic dermatitis (eczema) needed for a potential new treatment to help reduce the symptoms of inflammatory diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. You must be aged 18 to 60. Smokers and vegetarians are allowed. The trial involves 11 outpatient visits over approximately 10 weeks. New groups in January 2020.
